Midwest Mortgage Capital In The Community

Midwest Mortgage Capital makes it a priority to give back to the St. Louis community and offer ongoing support to many dedicated St. Louis charities, including Friends of Wings, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and the Little Guys. Co-founders Jerry Frost and George DeMare are devoted to helping the people in the communities they serve. Both Frost and DeMare feel that their financial success should be shared with great causes, especially those committed to helping children.

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

Midwest Mortgage Capital’s employee dress code requires a necktie, but every Friday from Memorial Day until Labor Day we allow our mortgage professionals to skip the necktie if they donate to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. We're proud to have just delivered a check for $1,400.00 to this fine organization this past summer, and we plan to continue this fundraiser for years to come.

Friends Of Wings

Friends of Wings is a St. Louis-area nonprofit focused on tending to the emotional, physical, social, spiritual, and psychological needs of children with progressive life-threatening or life-limiting conditions, regardless of their ability to pay.  The only such service in the area, they offer individualized programs, including innovative therapy, retreats, camps, and home health care  to help those families make the most of the time they have together.

Friends of Wings recently made news with its Wings in the City project, which showcased butterfly sculptures painted by local artists, sponsored by local companies like Midwest Mortgage Capital.  Over 50 unique butterflies graced all corners of St. Louis City to help raise awareness for Friends of Wings’ Expressive Therapy Program; the butterflies were later auctioned to raise $1.3 million dollars for Wings.

Midwest Mortgage Capital sponsors an annual golf tournament in St. Louis to raise money for Friends of Wings. With over 150 participants, including celebrities such as St. Louis Blues hockey great Keith Tkachuk and former St. Louis Ram’s cornerback, Aeneas Williams, Midwest Mortgage Capital is proud to report that the 2011 surpassed its fundraising goal.

Operation Food Search

Operation Food Search works tirelessly to fight hunger in the St. Louis Bi-State area by distributing two million pounds of donated food monthly to those in need.  The charity has developed several cutting-edge initiatives to combat hunger, including nutrition education, Operation Backpack to combat malnourishment in school-age children, and Green Initiatives to encourage local companies to donate recyclable waste to OFS for fundraising.   Midwest Mortgage Capital sponsors a canned food drive, which collected 3,686 items for the local St. Louis food pantry in December 2010.
